Managing versions

The files of one or several publications may be checked in to freeze the information in a given release.

The checked in version of the files of a publication contains the correct versions of all files released on a specific date.

A publication may include modules which are also referenced in several other publications, and these may be revised or updated following the delivery of a publication project.

It is possible to check in an individual file, a publication or a single folder in a workspace, or all files in a workspace.

Checked in files cannot be edited. If a checked in file is to be edited, it must be checked out. When a file is checked out in Skribenta, a new version is automatically created.
