Single sourcing
In the case of multiple product configurations, there is often a considerable amount of information that recurs between publications.
For the very purpose of avoiding duplication and unnecessary work, Skribenta content is organized into modules.
The same module may be reused across several publications. Modules are referenced from the content file via inclusions.
Content in a content file may be conditionalized when different product configurations share similar information. The conditionalized information is published only if the established publication condition is fulfilled.
In the case where, for example, only a product name is the differing component between publications, the content may be replaced with a general purpose variable.
Similarly, a unit may be replaced with a localization unit conversion variable, which automatically converts to the market-specific unit upon publication.
