When and why is Skribenta used?

A company may develop a number of product configurations which are sold in several markets, maybe worldwide.

For each product configuration, technical documents such as installation manuals, user manuals and getting started-guides have to be managed for the end user.

There may be a need to translate the documentation to several languages. Since the products share functionality, the same information ends up in several manuals for the same product or across products.

All or some of the manuals may need frequent updates, due to for example new releases of the products.

The process of managing this type of technical documentation may become challenging if lacking a system that is designed to cope with such challenges.
