Writing and editing
When a file is created in Skribenta, the content is written in sections and paragraphs, so-called block elements, and organized within hierarchies, which increases readability, and makes information easy to find.
The sections of a file create a chapter structure, with each section corresponding to a chapter or a subchapter.
A section may be nested within another section. Sections may contain paragraphs, tables, lists, warnings, notes, and more.
Images stored on the local network, or the CCMS file server, can be inserted as inline elements, or as blocks. Both rasterized and vector-based file formats are supported.
Content within a section may be formatted inside predefined wrapper elements to create computer text, comments, example sections, indented text, notes, warnings and more.
Mathematical formulas can be implemented with TeX syntax. Content may also be classified semantically, to achieve a specific look in the finished publication.
Unique element IDs may be assigned to specific elements in the file. Using the element IDs, internal cross-references can be created. It’s also possible to create references and links to external files or websites.
