Logging in to Skribenta configured for two-step authentication

You have a user account in Skribenta and you have set a password. You have access to a web browser and your email.

What you will learn

This instruction tells you how to log in to Skribenta. The instructions are valid for a Skribenta installation configured for a two-step authentication login.

The result

The result of following the instruction is that you are logged in.

Procedure

1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.

2. Open a web browser tab.

3. Navigate to the Skribenta login page, by inserting the Skribenta web address in the URL address bar.

The Skribenta Login page opens.

4. Type your username (your email), and your password.

5. Click Login.

The Skribenta Login Verification page opens.

A verification email is sent to you titled Skribenta Login Verification Code containing the login authentication code.

The authentication code expires after five minutes.

6. Open the verification email and copy the login authentication code.

7. Paste the copied login authentication code into the Code box on the Skribenta Login Verification page.

8. Click Login.

Skribenta opens.
