Creating a barcode
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

You have browsed to and opened the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.
You need to create a barcode in your file content.
It is possible to insert a text string that is converted to a barcode when publishing. Often the content is built up of variables, for example product name, product number and date. The barcode is represented in Skribenta by a phrase element with a class attribute set to barcode.

Open the file, then create a barcode phrase element and type your string in the phrase element.

The Phrase list opens.
A barcode phrase element is created.
