Creating a subtitle
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

You have browsed to and opened the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.

The file has a frontmatter.
You have created a main title in your document, and now you need to create a subtitle.
It is possible to create a subtitle in your file content. The subtitle is put in the front matter part of your document. The subtitle is represented by a subtitle element in Skribenta.
This instruction tells you how to create a subtitle in a content or configuration file.

Open the file, then create a subtitle in the frontmatter part of the file.

1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.
A pop-up list opens.
The part toolbar opens.
An empty subtitle element is created in the frontmatter part element.
A subtitle assumes there is a main title in the file. If the file does not have a main title, the following validation error appears:
