Searching for files included in a file (deep search)
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

You have browsed to and opened the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.
You need to search in all (nested) includes in your file content.
It is possible to do a deep search in a file. This means that, besides all content in your file, all nested includes in your file are searched.
This instruction tells you how to do a deep search in files, which means to search in all (nested) includes.

Open the Deep search function for a file, type search word(s) and do a deep search in the file.

Procedure
1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.
A pop-up list opens.
The Master file toolbar opens.
The Deep search tab opens.

The Deep search function is not case-sensitive.

You can search for multiple words, they do not need to be in sequence.
A list of files (search hits) is displayed on a new tab.
Underlined, at the top of the list, is a search result summary, showing:

how many files on the server that contain the search word(s) (4 files in the example above).

how many included files that contain the search word(s) including your file (3 files in the example above).
It is possible to expand the content of the listed files.
The Deep search function searches all nested files included in your file.
