Changing content file in a publication

Starting point

The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.
You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.
You have selected the workspace you want to work in.
You have created a publication.

Your need

You want to change the content file for a publication.

Browse to a publication, then change the content file.

Time

Less than 1 minute

1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.

2. On the Aspect toolbar, click Publications.

The Publications view opens.

3. In the Publications view, browse to the publication that you want to change content file for, and right-click it.

A pop-up list opens.

4. In the pop-up list, select the publication icon.

The Publication toolbar opens.

5. On the Publication toolbar, click Properties > Master.

The Master tab opens.

6. On the Master tab, click Browse to browse to another content file and click the option button next to the content file to select it.

The Master box is updated with the resource ID of the selected content file.

7. Click Apply.

The publication's content file is changed.
