Correcting spelling and grammar using LanguageTool
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

You have browsed to and opened the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.

The file has the correct language set.

Spellchecker is activated in the file.

Spellchecker is not globally deactivated for all files.
You need Skribenta to spell and grammar check your file content.
It is possible to correct spelling and grammar in your file content using LanguageTool.

Move the mouse pointer over a word underlined by LanguageTool, then select the correct text from the pop-up list.

Procedure

1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.
A pop-up list opens.
Spell and grammar checks are done automatically by LanguageTool for files set to a specific language, see LanguageTool spell-check languages.
Possible errors are marked with underlined text in different colors:

Red color - marks a possible spelling mistake.

Yellow color - marks a possible grammar error.

Purple color - marks a possible punctuation mistake, a wrong word or a stylistic improvement.
The total number of alerts for the document is shown by a red circled number on the Tools tab in the Tools frame.
Click the red circled number repeatably to find errors.
The file content is updated and the total number of alerts for the document is decreased.
When all errors are corrected, the total numbers of alerts for the document is zero.
