Sorting paragraphs and other elements in the editor

Background

The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

For example, you have created some paragraphs or list items in an ordered or unordered list, and want to sort them alphabetically and numerically.

It is possible to sort paragraphs, or list items in an ordered or unordered list, alphabetically and numerically. It is also possible to sort sections and wrappers on their titles.

This instruction tells you how to sort, for example, paragraphs or list items in an ordered or unordered list.

Open the file and select the content that you want to sort, then right-click the selection and click Sort > Ascending/Descending on the Block selection toolbar.

Procedure

1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.

You can also select elements that have titles to sort on the titles, for example sections and wrappers.

The Block selection toolbar opens.

  • Sort > Ascending to sort the selected content in ascending order.

    The selected content is sorted accordingly.

  • Sort > Descending to sort the selected content in ascending order.

    The selected content is sorted accordingly.

Sorting is done alphabetically and numerically.
