The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

It is possible to delete files and folders.

This instruction tells you how to delete files and folders.

Browse to a file or folder (resource) and select it, then do a delete operation on the resource.

Procedure

It is possible to delete a content file or configuration file that is connected to a publication. However, it is then not possible to publish the publication.

2. Browse to the file or folder (resource) in the Workspace view.

  • Select the resource and then press Delete or Backspace.

    Or

  • Right-click the resource.

    A pop-up list opens.

    The File or Folder toolbar opens.

    2. On the File or Folder toolbar, click Delete.

A Confirm dialog box opens.

The resource is deleted.

If the parent folder of the resource(s) was checked in before deleting the resource(s), the parent folder is now checked out to working version.

It is possible to delete a content file or configuration file that is connected to a publication. However, it is then not possible to publish the publication.

The Workspace view opens.

  • To select adjacent resources, hold down the Shift key while you click the first resource and the last resource that you want to select, or hold down the Shift key while you press an arrow key.

  • To select non-adjacent resources, hold down the Ctrl key while you click the resources that you want to select.

  • Press Delete or Backspace.

    Or

  • Right-click the selected resources.

    A toolbar opens.

    1. On the toolbar, click Delete.

A Confirm dialog box opens.

The resources are deleted.

If the parent folder of the resource(s) was checked in before deleting the resource(s), the parent folder is now checked out to working version.
