Viewing and editing the personal dictionary in LanguageTool
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

You have browsed to and opened the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.

The file has the correct language set.

Spellchecker is activated in the file.

Spellchecker is not globally deactivated for all files.
You need to view or edit your personal dictionary in LanguageTool.
It is possible to view or edit your personal dictionary in LanguageTool.
This instruction tells you how to view or edit your personal dictionary in LanguageTool.
Move the mouse pointer over a word underlined in red by LanguageTool, then select View dictionary.

Procedure
1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.
A pop-up list opens.
Your personal dictionary opens on a separate tab.
The personal dictionary file contains two main sections: Correct and Ignored Words.

The Correct section contains subsections for words valid for:

all languages (ALL).
-
individual languages (in this example British English with language code en).

The Ignored Words section contains subsections for words valid for:

all files (ALL).
-
only the file where the word was ignored in (in this example the resource ID and name for file id(83544)File 1.xml.

For each subsection, it is possible to:
-
add, delete, edit or hide words.

organize the words in subsections.
When you have saved your edited dictionary file and returned to your content file, you need to press F5 to refresh the page and update the spellchecker.
