Viewing version state of a folder or file
The procedure in this topic assumes Skribenta is installed and configured for normal operation, and:

You have logged into Skribenta.

You are assigned to one of the following user roles: content provider, technical writer or administrator.

You have selected the workspace you want to work in.

A content file or a configuration file is created in the workspace.

An image file is created (by uploading or dragging-and-dropping it) in the workspace.

A folder is created in the workspace.
You want to see the version state of a folder or file (resource).
It is possible to view the version state of a folder or file.
This instruction tells you how to view the version state of a folder or file.
Show folder and file versions by pressing Ctrl+Alt+V or selecting View > Versions on the top toolbar. Browse to a folder or file (resource). The version state is shown as a color indication (white, green or blue) on the version designation to the left of the resource name.

Procedure
1. Make sure that the step(s) in section "Starting point" (see section "Background" above) are performed.

Press Ctrl+Alt+V,
or

click View > Versions on the top toolbar.

a folder, browse to the folder in the Workspace view.

a file, browse to the file in the Workspace view or the Publications view.
In the Publications view, you can only browse to a content or configuration file that is connected to a publication.

White color = checked in version

Green color = working version

Blue color = checked in version with checked out child
